I hope the part when gollum falls into mt Doom that its not dumb, cause it will seam stupid if he just falls in. so it needs to be beliveable.

Yeah it is so thats why I hope that gollum just doesnt fall in cause he gets so excited that he was the ring cause it will be kinda stupid that way. So there just needs to be something little that makes him fall in like everything starts erupting and he falls in that way or something like that.

So far, after viewing the 9 minutes of ROTK scenes lemme add these:


Gandalf and Pippin looking out towards Mordor
Faramir first seeing Pippin

A lot of the stuff you guys said is blacked out and i suppose i'm prohibited to read it. Why is that?

Note: You should've made this a poll, it would be a lot easier.

I think there's three ways they'd destroy the ring:

1. Gollum takes the ring, then he comes over an amazing revelation, he discovers he wouldn't want to live with the ring, yet not without it (and also assuming he wouldn't make it out of mordor alive), so he doesn't. And he jumps in knowing that if he didn't, he'd be living a life of misery. So he holds the ring to his chest, and falls backward with eyes closed, and is consumed by the fires of mordor, yet his desire and longing of it would be unmade, as is the ring.

2. Gollum chases them down, and tackles frodo, both go in the fires of mordor (in a nutshell).

3. The same as the first scenario, only with Frodo instead. And as Gollum is chasing them down, when the ring is destroyed, Gollum diseintegrates and is carried away by the wind. possibly, having the second scenario intertwined as well.


I highly doubt that the end of the ring occuring because of Gollum's clumsyness would be unaccepted by fans.

Having heard the various screening reports, I think I'm going to have to change my vote to the Eowyn vs WiKi scene. By all accounts it sounds like it could be 1 of the best scenes of al 3 films. :)
