I know that's kind of an odd question but people handle things so differently and I am wondering where you guys stand.

when im angry - I get pretty histerical for a few minutes and then calm down (there's no point in getting pissed off for long periods of time)

when im sad - i just go and do things that distract me (like sports). Then when im in a decent frame of mind i think about it.

When I'm sad- talk about it or cry.
When I'm angry- cuss or hit something.
When I'm frustrated- play my sax, paint or write.
When I'm happy- talk and giggle a lot.

When I'm happy - I contact Ripley.

When I'm frustrated I usually try and get away from everything. Maybe go on a drive up the coast for a bit. That usually really helps.

When I'm sad- Cry, lay in bed and stare at the ceiling alone with my thoughts, go for a drive, write poetry.
When I'm angry- yell, curse, hit things.
When I'm frustrated- Kind of a mix of sad and angry reactions.
When I'm happy- talk, joke around, laugh a lot.

When I'm happy... I act all goofy and hyper
When I'm in love... I get all cuddly and sweet
When I'm angry... I get quiet and withdraw from whoever it is I'm angry with
When I'm sad... I spend a lot of time alone, in bed, with a book

To answer Pixi's questions.

I still want to be a celebrity, but not like a huge celebrity. More like Kevin Smith type fame. I've always wanted to be famous and I still do.

To answer the other question.

Well lately I haven't been feeling a lot of emotions, but most end up with me running my fist into the wall for some odd reason.

Sad - When Im sad most of the time I try and talk it out with a close friend. Either that or I write poetry listen to music and chill and try and relax.

Angry - I usally just punch a wall or go out drinking with my buddies and get hammerd. I know it doesnt sound like the ebst thing to do but I dont get angry much so it doesnt happen that often. Usually drinking just makes it worse for me anyhow so that im glad im not angry allot.

I forgot one. When I'm in love I just get this warm/fuzzy feeling and I can't stop smiling/dreamy sighing/walking around with my head in the clouds. Honestly, love is the only thing that can make you smile one minute and thirty seconds later, it'll have you crying your eyes out. Tricky, that one is. :p

When I'm happy I'm all goofy and I smile way too much
When I'm sad I get distant and look like my heart has been ripped out
When I'm angry I get this look in my eyes that says don't come near me or it's on. I also cuss a lot and pace around if it's really bad. Sometimes when I'm pushed too far I'll hit **** like the wall or my punching bag

New question - what are your views on circumcision?

PsychoMike
11-14-2003, 08:52 AM
What an odd question, Ted.

anyway to answer: I have know problem with it, from a medical stand point it is said to be healthier in the long run.

LadyFireFly
11-14-2003, 08:54 AM
Honestly, I think it's a bit inhumane to chop off a piece of a baby's body without their consent. That being said, I plan to have my kid circumsized anyway ;) Guys with uncircumsized penises get teased a lot and some girls freak out to it. I figure guys have a hard enough life without that extra obstacle. Also, just for the record, I don't care personally if my boyfriend is circumsized or not. Makes no difference to me.

Raise him in Australia though and he will get teased for not being all there. Mushroom tops etc. Amongst western countries it only seems to be widespread in America. Thats why I asked. And its been an issue on american tv shows - seinfeld, fraiser, cheers etc.

Exactly, I know. In fact, more European men are not circumsized than are. It just seems to be hugely widespread in America and a few other places. People just get used to what they're exposed to, I suppose.

I don't care whether a guy is or isn't. I have known two men that were not circumcized as babies and both of them decided to have it done later in life. They said it was easier and made sex more enjoyable for them.

lol, this is so weird because I had this discussion with some friends the other day. Over here it is A LOT more normal to be] uncircumcised, and over in America it seems like it's the other way around. I always thought being circumcised was related to religion, maybe that’s why not many Danish men are circumcised because we aren’t that religious. It’s just funny reading that guys get teased for not, being circumcised when it’s the exact opposite here.

I read in Maxim that one of the perks to being uncircumsized is a "natural lube". At least that's what uncircumsized guys call it. I call it schmegma and that's just no good.

That's funny, I heard the exact opposite. That uncircumsized guys had greater sexual pleasure.

Spread the word ;) I really did hear that it feels better for them because there is greater friction from the extra skin, and the "natural lube" as Idaho said. It makes sense when you think about it.

Circumsized penises do look better though, in my opinion. But it seems silly to be that concerned with what a guy's dick looks like. Life is hard enough.

Must admit thought your clutch foot can get pretty sore after a long day driving. Starting and stoping crawling through traffic etc.

Still changing gears gives you something to do.

NEW QUESTION-

Do you believe in Soul Mates? If so, what do you they think entail? Do we have one or many?

Knerys

I don't believe in soul mate per-say but I do beleive that if two people truely connect they will do everything they can to make it work.

Colorado Cajun
11-17-2003, 04:43 PM
I believe everyone has someone who their soul is eternally bonded to yes. It's someone who's energy and essence matches or intertwines with yours and when you meet them you just know it. I believe you can have more than one as well

Iben
11-17-2003, 06:10 PM
I don't believe in soul mates, but I do believe that there are people who are perfect for each other

LadyFireFly
11-17-2003, 06:18 PM
I am not sure if I believe in soul mates, because I am still on a spiritual quest for truths about the higher power, destiny, etc. I have a lot I want to explore and try and figure out. I can't truly believe in soul mates until I truly believe in God.

But I do think some people are right for eachother and it's a feeling they get that confirms that their journey for companionship has ended. I also agree that there are more than one person you can share this bond with.

Skinny
11-17-2003, 06:22 PM
I agree... one can be open to many options socially, but there's always that one person out there which you click the most with... and the amazing part is, it could be someone that can be totally unexpected to you...

JimmyDean
11-17-2003, 11:03 PM
I don't believe in having a soul mate, it's kinda like the Tooth Fairy or Santa. I do believe that they're people out there, many people, whom you can connect with on a high level. You may have your differences in religion, politics, film, whatever, but deep down, you have a connection that you share that not many people do.

You will meet people like this in your life, make sure to keep them close... ;)

JAE
11-18-2003, 08:28 AM
I believe in soul mates and I think you have a few. To me a soul mate is someone that you were with in a past life. Someone you loved or cared for before. Doesn't have to be a member of the opposite sex, it could be a freind. Haven't you ever been drawn to someone for a reason that you couldn't explain......or felt that you knew someone for years when in fact it was only a few weeks?

But when it comes to having a soul mate that is your partner in life, everyone has someone waiting......you just have to find them. :)

pixiness
11-18-2003, 08:28 AM
I prefer automatic transmission.

I believe there is such a thing as soul mates, but I don't think that's who you always end up with. In fact, I'd say most of the time people are with someone who's not their soul mate, but they're still fairly content. They'll never experience pure unbridled joy or passion, but they'll never be sad or lonely either.

PsychoMike
11-18-2003, 09:11 AM
I have to agree with JAE there are people who you were "destined" to meet, because you knew them in a past life. whether it is a guy or a girl, there are just some people that you click with automaticly.

As for whether I belive there is on perfect person that you should meet and fall in love with; no I don't belive there is. And even if there was, there are 6 billion people on this planet mine is probobly living somewhere in Siberia or elsewhere that I'll never go.

which do you fear more:

THE PAST OR THE PRESENT OR THE FUTURE?

Why would someone fear the past? I something bad happened in the past and you were currently worried about it, any reprecussions would technically always be in the future.

See this question can be interpreted 2 different ways. It can cause us to go back to a certain decision we made in life and redo it, or it can be asking what time period we would want to live in if we had any choice.

Answering both possibililities, I would say:

1) Right after highschool, I would take some time off and then go immediately to the school I am attending now. I wasted 2 years of my life unhappy at my first college and it caused me to fall back many steps in my life, so I would rather just never go there.

2) The 60s

I fear the present... I'm constantly questioning whether or not I'm doing the right thing.

I would go back in time to the 1930s (except I'd like to be on the society end of things like the Rockefellers, not the unfortunate people standing in soup lines because of the depression). It's really one of the most beautiful eras in American History. The country was still young, filled with hope and industry and a healthy amount of respect for the arts and education. I think it was probably the best we ever were. I wish we could be more like that now. (Of course, I've never lived it - so what do I know?)

I used to be in love. I would like to be again. But I'm not currently.

You need cheering up!

I'm happy because:

I love most of my family and my Dad and Sister kick so much ass!
I have a great car
I might be able to raise the cash I need to go traveling to America
I have some great qualifications
I'm going the right way for a career
My prospects for the future are what I make them and they won't make themselves. Motivation.

What makes you happy?

LadyFireFly

What makes me happy:

The obvious things:

Friends
Family
Cat
Love

Less obvious things:

~Having memories to reflect on when I was at my pinnacle of happiness and everything was perfect. These memories keep me going because they remind me of what I had once and will have again someday.

~Graduating school in May. Finishing college has been a big struggle for me and it will give me a huge sense of accomplishment. It will also start a brand new chapter of my life which is very exhilirating and frightening all at once.

~Being outside. Being active, walking around nature, going on adventures, travel, etc. I am happy when I am experiencing the most out of life. When I am in my house a lot being lazy and doing nothing, I tend to get down.

~Knowing that I have come along way in my life and I have not let people get the best of me or break me. I am a fighter and a survivor, and it makes me happy that I've overcome so many obstacles in life and still have some remnants of sanity.

~Movies and music. I don't know where I'd be without 'em.

~Chocolate ;)

- Mornings where you wake up and you think it's a workday but then you realize it's not and you can curl up and go back to sleep
- Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade (I'd be happier if it were Archer's Cranberry - but we don't get those here)
- A really good book
- A really good movie
- A really good CD
- Hitting every green light on the way somewhere
- Finding a great outfit has finally gone on sale
- Being told I'm loved
- Being shown I'm loved (sweet gestures, hugs, kisses, naughtiness)
- Writing... fiction, ads, letters - I like just about all of it.
- Long weekends (like this one coming up - YAY!)
- Disney World
- Intelligent Conversation
- Scuba Diving
- Traveling

I'm happy when...

-I see my crush
-I eat food (especially candy)
-I'm with my family and they're not mad at me
-I watch a movie (with popcorn or candy or ice cream)
-I read a book, a magazine, etc.
-I go on vacations
-Swimming
-I'm watching/playing football (even though I'm a girl and I'm supposed to help cook in Thanksgiving)

NEW QUESTION-

What is something (or some things) that you always wanted to do but never did, out of fear?

Mine would be:

1) Travelling Alone
2) Going to a nude beach
3) Heroin (fear is good in some cases)

I am scared of nude beaches. I love being naked by myself, but around other people, I tend to get more self conscious. I've gotten better with that, but when I have the guts to go to a nude beach, I'll know I totally overcame it.
