Jesus Christ, she's like the type of character you see in a movie, lol. In fact, it would be interesting to work a character like that into a screenplay, see how it turned out.

I'm not a virgin, I've had sex with 2 girls. One of them I totally regret because it was for no other reason than I was drunk and horny and vice-versa but oh well I can't take what I've done back. I am still friends with that person however so it's not too bad of a thing.

The other times was with my girlfriend and it was a serious relationship. I loved her, and she loved me. I have no regrets about it and never will. I'm not with her anymore, in fact we hardly talk anymore, but we'll always have that between us. It's a memory I'll never forget so...

I regret the one and only time I've had sex so far. She was nine years older than me and we where very drunk, I'd have much rathered it be with someone I could imagine being with.

I would prefer it if sex only occured when love was envolved but for most people that just wont happen so as long as your safe and responsible I don't see the problem.

It's a difficult question to answer. There are so many different factors to consider.
Maybe this passage will help me explain.

"There are two kinds of sex, classical and baroque. Classical sex is romantic, profound, serious, emotional, moral, mysterious, spontaneous, abandoned, focused on a particular person, and stereotypically feminine. Baroque sex is pop, playful, funny, experimental, conscious, deliberate, amoral, anonymous, focused on sensation for sensation’s sake, and stereotypically masculine. The classical mentality taken to an extreme is sentimental and finally puritanical; the baroque mentality taken to an extreme is pornographic and finally obscene. Ideally, a sexual relation ought to create a satisfying tension between the two modes (a baroque idea, particularly if the tension is ironic) or else blend them so well that the distinction disappears (a classical aspiration). Lovemaking cannot be totally classical unless it is also totally baroque, since you cannot abandon all restraints and so attain a classical intensity. In practice, however, most people are more inclined to one mode than to the other. A very classical person will be incompatible with a very baroque person unless each can bring out the other’s latent opposite side. Two people who are very one-sided in the same direction can be extremely compatible but risk missing a whole dimension of experience unless they get so deeply into one mode that it becomes the other." - Ellen Willis

I enjoy sex and don't deny myself the experience. Psychologically I can handle it without any dogmatic hang ups. Now I'm not saying I'm extremely promiscuous, I'm only saying that I don't deny my physical and mental attractions. I don't really objectify women, I don’t hunt them, Yes I’m drawn to them and even though I do joke at times (even around here), I do respect them all. When all is said and done love and sex are different things and through experience I've learned the difference between the two. I've learned that honesty is a must in both; in intimate romance it’s honesty with your lover. While in anonymous sex its honesty with yourself. I guess I've walked the edge between the two and I have no regrets.

Special Talents:

-Playing Piano
-Dancing (ballet mostly although I can get my groove on the dancefloor too)
--- related to above - I'm very flexible/limber/etc.
-Writing
-I've got MAD SKILLS at trivial pursuit
-some (secret) talents

Views on sex:

I think there's something admirable in waiting until you're married. It's reassuring to know that some people have that much willpower and such a healthy respect toward sex.

I personally am not a virgin - I believe that sex is best when shared between two people who love and care about each other. But I don't think that it always happens that way.

sabin26

I regret my first time.....bad night....very bad night. Other than that I really don't regret not waiting. It was a decision that I can't take back so I've learned from it. I think that if you and your partner can both wait till marriage it will be the best. Also, IMHO, if you both can wait it is less likey that you have to worry about catching anything serious....something again that I have learned from.

Thing I hate: the way I worry, I worry about really silly things, and that I can't always expect that there are something I can't fix.

Talents: piano, singing (though kinda out of practice), cake decorating, I can memorizes thing very quickly and remeber random info about random things heh, juggling (sorta), can flip my eyes inside out (weird yes I know), and can save triple drowning victims using only one rescue tube. :p

sex: still a virgin, though my friend here gave me such a hard time about it, it only teasing but it gets old sometimes. Love certainly should be present, but it really about what you feel is alright. Some people I know like it when they want it and as long as their careful then fine. Me, I think it important to have that connection with someone before you do it. I think waitng until marriage is a very good thing because then you know that you want to spend you life with this person and you are completely trusting and comfortable with them. But if you love someone and you do it then that is good too.

Talents: None... I'm 23 and haven't found one yet that matters. I am however the trivia king, but that is useless.
So Pixi, you and me one day at trivial pursuit.

I used to be a pretty good rugby player, but injuries to my... Well lets list them all
Knees (both)
Back (upper and lower)
left elbow
right shoulder
left quadriceps
both hamstrings
broken nose (twice)
1 concussion
to top it off a hernia when I was 17
These are not all from Rugby, and I contribute a lot to a very active youth.

According to my professor and some peers I am a decent filmmaker, and a wealth of knowledge on different auteurs.

My views on sex: I think the only time that sex really matters is the first time, after that, it’s the spice of life.

As for someone I would kill? Anyone who tortures an innocent animal. Those people piss me off.

Talents: Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Swimming, and some Tennis, as well as watching football, and others on tv. Then I play the piano, violin, flute, and clarinet at varying levels. Also, writing, especially theories and essays ( I know, I'm nuts :p) And math, I rock at math, even though I despise it. Go figure.

Who I'd kill: Changes depending on who I'm around. Maybe this girl in my school who's constantly coughing up crap and doesn't get that she's annoying and no one likes her. She keeps telling me I hate her, no matter how nice I try to be.

Well, alot of you have seen it already.

Top half Lime Green wall paper with a kinda swishy stencil boarder and a blue pinstripe bottom half.

Crappy blue yellow and red '80's style carpet and dark blue curtains.

My bed spread is always either navy blue sheets and a blue and white chequred douvet or a blue and pastel green douvet with lime green sheets.

I like it apart from the carpet!

Other than that I'm pleased with my appearance or whatever. I'm pretty tan but not like beach boy tan, just in the sun alot. About 5'11, 155 lbs so I'm looking to gain some weight, which will happen once the weather gets cooler, I start school and start working out more. I'm actually pretty strong for my size, stronger than I look probably. I'm pretty physicaly fit besides being a smoker and not doing a whole hell of alot. I'm actually pretty cut for my slim size so it's not so bad, jus thard for me to gain weight.

So overall, I just want the good eyesight to go along with my baby blues!

Heh... this reminds me. Ever hear of the progression of height through time? People always refer to Napoleon as short, whereas at that time his midget height was actually quite normal.

Well, I live in Plymouth County in Massachusetts. That's right, THE PLYMOUTH COLONY. The doors here are the smallest in the nation, provided you're walking under old doors.

My catering job is out of a function hall that used to be a farm.... that started in 1700. Granted, it's been renovated.... but sometimes, I'd be setting up tables in a function room, walk into the coat closet, forget to duck, and hit my head on the 5'10'' clearing. New question: Do you have any special items that hold significant sentimental value to you?

Mine would either be the rosary that my grandfather gave me before he died, or the necklace given to me by my godparents at my baptism.

JimmyDean

I have these two cards that have prayers written on them that I recieved at one of my grandfather's funeral. I keep it close and near, at all times.

For some very odd reason, my family never took many pictures of me and my sister together and when they did, I was never smiling, but I do have one great pic that was taken maybe 6 months ago of both of us smiling and looking good, so I keep that close, as well.

Also gotta keep my kitty, Buddy, close at all times, even when he's annoying the hell out of me. He's 8 now and I've had him since he was about 3 weeks old... I love the little guy!

Special items:

A little horseshoe keychain and mini pinky-sized grey hammer that I had from my childhood.

A smooth rock that has my name and a heart painted on it, given to me when I was 14. It was the first really romantic thing a guy ever did for me and it was a sweet gesture.

My mini-tape recorder and tapes that detailed a big part of my childhood, from when I was about 8 to 14. A lot of it is me goofing around with friends, taping conversations my parents had, expressing my feelings/thoughts on various things, etc. Those tapes and my diaries and pictures are the first things I'd grab if there was a fire or something.

My guitar, because it's helped me through a lot of rough times. Cheesy but true.

Things that I treasure-

My talking baby dinosaur from the show "Dinosaurs"..it's one of the last trips I took with my uncle Leonard. I remember wanting one of the dinosaurs so bad and the closest one we could find was in Joplin so he, my parents and me drove all the way to Joplin to get it for me.

My pictures (mainly of family, a few of friends) ..I treasure them because they're from special times in my life.

My Arkansas quarter that hasn't been minted yet. It was by far the most unique and thoughtful birthday present anyone has ever given me.

My dried rose petals. I dried the petals of a dozen yellow roses someone sent me when I was in the hospital. They had a hell of a time finding me but it was such a sweet gesture, I had to keep them.

My locket. It has sentimental value because it represents a time in my life I felt loved, even if I did have my head in the clouds.

My tassel, graduation cap and gown- I made it through Hell and they prove it.

My Care Bears. They were just a sweet gesture by someone and they make me feel special. I sleep with Goodnight Bear every night.

My saxophone. "Susie." It was my first sax and I've been playing it for 8 years. It's been through being dropped on the floor, it's been to five different states with me, it's been out in rainstorms with me, it's been through some of the best and worst times in high school with me. Music is one of my only outlets and I cherish my sax.

My Puffalump. Ah ha..80s memoribilia at it's best. It's a yellow stuffed cat that's lost all of it's stuffing and is flat as a pancake. I got it for my fourth birthday from my aunt (who I've grown apart from) and it means a lot because it's from happier times.

My very first pair of earrings. They're itty bitty..my ears were pierced when I was two years old and they were pierced with tiny pearl studs and I still have them.

I have an old metal tin that I keep all my sentimental things in:

I've collected all my movie stubbs since I was nine.

1878 Silver Pocket Watch given to me by my grandfather.

An Ivory Pocket Knife also given to me by my grandfather before he died.

A selection of coins from every country I've been to.

My Saint Christopher given to me when I was born.

A special letter from a certain someone.

The cross I wear around my neck. It was a Christmas gift from my best friend.

A two-headed doll. You flip the doll one way and she is wearing a dress. You flip it the other way, she is dressed like a nanny. My great-grandmother made it for me.

A small stuffed pink teddy bear and receiving blanket. It was mine when I was a baby and I used the blanket when I brought my son home from the hospital.

The movie "The Aristocats". My grandfather took me to see this movie when I was little and afterward bought me the record with the story book. I still have it and every time I watch the movie on VHS, I feel like he is there with me.

A photo of my uncle with my then 1 year old son. The photo was taken two months before my uncle died suddenly.

All the greeting cards my best friend ever sent me.

The ticket stub from the movie "From Hell". It was the first movie I ever saw with my best guy friend, capricorndevil.

A picture my best friend made for me when I was confirmed.

Every ticket stub from all of the concerts I have attended.

Special Stuff -

A locket my grandmother used to wear that she left to me (it's got the Sagittarius symbol on it and our birthdays were only 4 days apart)

My other grandmother gave me a christmas ornament every year since my birth. I had 24 of them before she died. They're very special to me.

My stuffed puppy from baby-childhood. His name is Arfy, and he's definitely seen better days but I love him lots.

An antique leather-bound complete works of Shakespeare given to me by the best teacher I ever had. She and I are still friends

This little pebble from the beach on my last vacation - reminds me I was actually there and of the whole week spent with someone special - it sits right on my nightstand

Why does it seem like I'm asking all the questions!
Here's an interesting one for some of you:

What do you like most about yourselves?
Mine would be my perspective, I think. No matter what happens, I have a firm sense of where I should go from there. I saw way too many of my friends become get sidetracked, to put it nicely, and I promised myself I'd never get like that; keep my goals in mind.

I'd have to say it's that I'm tough as a two dollar steak. I've made it through more **** than I care to remember and I'm still alive and kickin'. I also like the fact that I'm loyal even after I'm hurt. If I'm loyal to you, I'll remain loyal till my dyin' day. I like the fact that even though I may breakdown from something kicking my ass, I always get back up and say "bring it on." I like the fact that all things considered, I'm a damn good friend. The last thing I like about myself is that it seems the smallest things I do can cheer my friends and loved ones up (singing to them, giggling, telling stupid jokes, generally being comic relief, etc.)

I agree with you completely. He's on TV, in magazines etc. way too much. I've sort of grown sick of him (but then I was neverly overly fond of him in the first place)

Time for a new question.

Do you have any regrets, things you've done and wish you hadn't or things you just never got to do but wish you had?

If so please share, also if you don't mind tell us a little about why you regret it, or why you didn't do it.

Citizen Kane
08-11-2003, 02:01 AM
I have a few, many of them petty.

I always regretted that I never told my trumpet teacher thank you when he called to say he couldn't teach me anymore.
I always regretted that I was too tired to go to my great-uncle's funeral. (I had some bowel problems, but they ended before the funeral.)

More to come, as I think of them.

JimmyDean

I regret hurting my family and friends with all the BS and sadness I've given them over the years, particuarly my mom and one special friend.

I also regret all the lies I've told, whether it be to my family or close friends... 'twas a bad habit I had for some time, but I'm slowly, but surely conquering it.

I don't really regret that much in life, at the moment, I guess that's a good thing. I hope from now on, whenever I see a chance for happiness or something that can improve my life, I'll jump on it. That doesn't sound like something I'd want to regret years down the road.

Oh man, I am like the Queen of Regret. I regret my constant dwelling in regret.

I would say my biggest 2 regrets are moving to California to live with my dad and stepmom, since it essentially was one of the worst years of my life and caused me to hate my father. Also, going away to college when I wasn't ready, and basically following the flock. That school wasn't for me and I was there for 2 years and it threw my sense of self into a whirlwind.

Those are my two biggest regrets, because if I had not gone to CA or gone to that school, I would be a lot less screwed up today.

I try to live without regrets.

Even though there are plenty of awful things that have happened to me and terrible things I've done to others, I realize they've all contributed to making me the person I am today. And some of the worst things that have happened in my life have taught me some of the most valuable lessons, so I try to keep things in perspective that way.

The biggest regrets I've had were backing down from something, being scared, timid, wussy. I was sorry for a lot of my actions after I did them, but I got over it. The only long term ones were where I didn't take a good risk.

I regret loosing my virginity when I was drunk to a married woman who had kids!! but to some kind of small consellation her husband was beeting her around and she just wanted to be cared for even if it wasn't to last.

I don't regret not continuing the affair. It was a foolish thing for me to but she wanted it to continue, I'm glad I said no.

Guys who make me laugh, even if they're slightly immature. This actually kind of strange, since I'm so serious sometimes.

Also, I regret not saying goodbye to my french teacher and telling her the truth about how many years of french I actually took.

I usually TRY to go for the girls that are mature. That don't have any of the college "I hate myself" crap going on. Girls that know what it takes for them to "have fun" (Pixi knows what I'm talking about). Girls that can take care of themselves in every way. Physically, finacially, emotionally, etc. I don't like to be needed. If I have the choice, physically, I like a girl with a booty and nice boobs. Nice doesn't mean big. I always go for blondes if I can help it.

But I usually end up with the exact opposite.
